LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 32nd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team opened its spring campaign with a 5-1 victory over Randolph-Macon on Sunday at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
The Yellow Jackets drew blood first, posting a 9-8 (3) win at No. 1 doubles. However, the Generals easily claimed the other two doubles matches and notched straight-set wins at Nos.1, 2 and 6 singles to record their 51st consecutive regular-season conference victory.
The Generals are back in action at 2:00 pm when they also host Christopher Newport.
