LEXINGTON, Va. – Top-seeded Washington and Lee took down eighth-seeded Sweet Briar, 5-0, in the ODAC Women's Tennis Tournament Quarterfinals on Sunday at the Duchossois Tennis Center.

The Generals cruised through the doubles round, taking all three matches to go into singles with a 3-0 advantage. The Blue and White then took victories at No.2 and No.4 singles to claim a 5-0 decision.

With the win, W&L advances to the ODAC Semifinals to be held on Saturday at Virginia Wesleyan. It will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between fourth-seeded Randolph and fifth-seeded Bridgewater. The time is to be determined.
