SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The 10th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team defeated Sweet Briar, 6-3, in ODAC action on Wednesday afternoon at the Gymnasium Tennis Courts.
The Generals improved to 13-4 overall and 6-0 in the conference with the win, while Sweet Briar fell to 4-7 overall and 1-3 in the league.
W&L returns to the court on Saturday when it hosts second-ranked Johns Hopkins. The match is set to start at 12:00 pm.
