W&L Men's Tennis Falls to Sewanee, 6-3

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 36th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Sewanee on Sunday morning.

Sewanee grabbed the early lead by winning two of the three doubles matches and rode that momentum into singles play, where the Tigers claimed four of the six matches for the final margin.

With the loss, W&L fell to 10-4 overall. Sewanee improved to 9-4 with the win.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Thursday when it hosts DePauw for a 3:00 pm match.
