LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 24th-ranked and top-seeded Washington and Lee men's tennis team posted a 6-0 victory over eighth-seeded Randolph in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament on Sunday afternoon at the W&L Outdoor Courts.
The Generals dropped just four total points en route to sweeping the doubles action. In singles, sophomores Brian Krouskos (Alpharetta, Ga. / Mount Pisgah Christian) and Sam Borowsky (Bala Cynwyd, Pa. / Harriton) both won 6-0, 6-1 at Nos. 5-6, respectively, and sophomore Michael Holt (Henrico, Va. / Mills Godwin) won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
With the win, W&L improved to 15-4 overall, while the WildCats dropped to 4-13. Washington and Lee will now advance to the semifinals where it will face fourth-seeded Bridgewater on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Sweet Briar College.
