SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The 24th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team ended its regular season with a 5-4 victory over Sewanee on Friday afternoon.
The Generals posted wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles for a 2-1 leading entering singles play. In singles, W&L notched straight-set victories at Nos. 2-4 to claim the win.
The Blue & White improved to 14-4 overall, while the Tigers fell to 11-6 on the season.
W&L claimed the top seed for the ODAC Championship and hosts eighth-seeded Randolph for a tournament quarterfinal contest on Sunday at 2:00 pm.
