LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 20th-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team competed in its last regular season home match, taking down the Randolph WildCats, 9-0, in the process.
The Generals started the match out strong by taking the three doubles matches, all by a score of 8-0, to hold the early 3-0 advantage.
The Blue and White continuted its success by winning all six singles matches. Juniors Sonja Meighan (McLean, Va. / Flint Hill) and Allison Hupalo (Weston, Mass. / Weston), along with first-year Brooke Donnelly (Kennesaw, Ga. / Marietta) didn't drop a game in any of their matches, with each winning by a score of 6-0, 6-0.
The Generals improved to 11-2 overall and a perfect 10-0 in ODAC play, while the WildCats fell to 8-3 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
W&L will be back in action on Monday, April 14th when it travels to Roanoke for a 3:00 pm match.
