W&L Women's Tennis Cruises to a 5-0 Win Over Guilford

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee women's tennis team cruised to a 5-0 win over Guilford on Wednesday afternoon at the Duchossois Tennis Center.

The Generals dropped just four games in sweeping the three doubles points, and then notched wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to end the match that was played to decision.

W&L improved to 6-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference, while Guilford fell to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the ODAC.

Washington and Lee returns to the court on Sunday when it travels to Shenandoah for a 2:00 pm match.
