MONROEVILLE, Pa. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at 11th-ranked Carnegie Mellon on Saturday.
The Generals posted wins at Nos. 1-2 doubles to carry a 2-1 advantage into the singles action. However, W&L could manage only a win at No. 3 singles as the Tartans walked away with the victory.
With the loss, W&L dropped to 11-3 overall, while Carnegie Mellon improved to 13-5.
Washington and Lee returns to action on April 12 when it travels to Hampden-Sydney for a 1:00 pm match.
