LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team posted a 9-0 victory over Roanoke on Monday afternoon at the W&L Outdoor Courts.
The Generals lost just four games in sweeping the doubles points and then easily won all six singles matches in straight sets.
The win improved W&L to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the ODAC, while Roanoke slipped to 4-2 overall and 0-2 in conference action.
The Generals return to the courts on Saturday when they host 17th-ranked Mary Washington for a 12:00 pm match.
