LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team defeated Randolph College by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon in Lynchburg.
The Generals dropped just one game in the matches at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, but required a tie-breaker to take the No. 2 doubles match. W&L won a majority of the singles matches with relative ease to complete the win over the WildCats.
W&L improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the ODAC with the win, while Randolph fell to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the ODAC with the loss.
Washington and Lee is also competing against Lynchburg College today and will return to action on Saturday with a home match against Randolph-Macon at 3:00 pm.
