NORFOLK, Va. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis
team opened ODAC play on Friday by defeating Virginia Wesleyan,
9-0, at Old Dominion.
The Generals easily swept the doubles points by dropping just
seven games. W&L then took all six singles matches in
straight sets to improve to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the ODAC.
Virginia Wesleyan fell to 0-1 overall with the loss.
Washington and Lee returns to action on February 25 when it
travels to Randolph and hosts Lynchburg. The Randolph match
will occur at 3:00 pm, while the Lynchburg match will be at 4:00
pm.
