LEXINGTON, Va. -- The 23rd-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team defeated Shenandoah on Saturday morning by a score of 8-1.
The Generals took all three doubles points, claiming No. 3 doubles by default. W&L then posted wins in four of the five contested singles matches, with the No. 6 singles match also being a W&L win by default.
W&L is now 10-3 overall and 8-0 in ODAC play, while Shenandoah fell to 2-6 overall and 0-5 in conference matches.
The Generals will be in action again this afternoon when they host Hampden-Sydney for a 1:00 pm match.
