PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The 19th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team saw its nine-game winning streak halted on Saturday, falling to 13th-ranked Carnegie Mellon by a score of 6-3 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
CMU took two of the three doubles matches and Nos. 1-4 singles in improving to 10-4 on the season.
With the loss, the Generals fell to 11-4 overall with one regular season match remaining, a match against Hampden-Sydney that was postponed earlier this season. A make-up date for has yet to be determined.
