LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team won its sixth straight match over a conference opponent, knocking off Randolph College by a score of 9-0 on Wednesday in Lynchburg.
The Generals didn't drop a single game in taking all three doubles points, then dropped just nine games in singles for the sweep of the WildCats.
The win improved W&L to 8-3 overall and 7-0 in ODAC play, while Randolph fell to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in conference matches.
Washington and Lee returns to the courts on Saturday as it hosts 17th-ranked Case Western Reserve for a 9:00 am match.
