LEXINGTON, Va. -- The No. 9 Washington and Lee women's tennis team upended No. 8 Carnegie Mellon, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon at the Duchossois Tennis Center.
Trailing 2-1 after doubles, the Generals rallied to win five of the six singles positions in earning the 6-3 decision.
With the win, W&L improved to 13-6, while Carnegie Mellon fell to 10-4 overall.
The Generals return to action on Wednesday as they conclude ODAC regular-season play with matches against Hollins and Sweet Briar.
