LEXINGTON, Va. -- The top-seeded Washington and Lee women's tennis team opened ODAC Tournament play with a 5-0 decision over eighth-seeded Randolph-Macon in quarterfinal action on Sunday morning.
The Generals, ranked eighth nationally, defeated the Yellow Jackets in a match played to decision with wins at all three doubles positions and at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots.
W&L returns to action on Friday in a semifinal match of the ODAC Tournament as it hosts the winner of the No. 4 seed Roanoke College and No. 5 seed Sweet Briar match held on Sunday.
