FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- The No. 18 Mary Washington men's tennis team defeated 25th-ranked Washington and Lee by a score of 6-3 on Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg.
The Generals earned wins at the No. 3 doubles and No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions, but were not able to overcome the Eagles. With the loss the Generals dropped to 6-1, while Mary Washington improved to 4-6.
Washington and Lee will return to action on Sunday for a 1:00 pm ODAC match against Guilford.
