LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team defeated both Randolph-Macon College and Virginia Wesleyan University on Friday evening at the Duchossois Tennis Center.

The Generals swept both contests, topping Randolph-Macon, 8-0, and Virginia Wesleyan, 5-0. With the victories, the Generals improved to 2-1 on the season, while R-MC and VWC both fell to 0-1.

W&L will return to action on Sunday as they host Emory & Henry and Guilford at the Duchossois Tennis Center, beginning at 10:00 am.
