GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Washington and Lee men's tennis team posted its second win in as many days on Saturday, topping Guilford by a 7-0 final in Greensboro.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Generals (2-0, 2-0 ODAC) posted 6-0 wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles to open the match, with a forfeit win at No. 3. Sophomore Henry Imorde and first-year Lach McCaghren teamed up at No. 1 and sophomore Todd Cannaliato and first-year Dutch Prather were at No. 2.
- W&L cruised in singles play as four players won all their sets by a 6-2 or larger. Imorde won both of his sets 6-2 at No. 1, while Prather won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2.
- McCaghren (3) and sophomore Justin Ilie (4) had even more comfortable wins, dropping just one game each.
- The Quakers forfeited singles positions 5 and 6 to round out the scorebook.
