LEXINGTON, Va. - Heading into the Outdoor season after claiming their second consecutive Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Indoor Title, the Washington and Lee University women's track and field team looks to defend their outdoor conference title as the outdoor season kicks off this weekend with the W&L Carnival.

The Generals hoisted their second-straight Indoor title after scoring 195.5 points with six individual champions and 37 top-eight finishes. 

2026 Outdoor Schedule Overview

The outdoor season kicks off this weekend in Lexington for the W&L Carnival on March 20-21 for their only home meet of the season. The following weekend, the Generals will head to Bridgewater College for the Doc Jopson Invite on March 27-28 to end the month. April opens up with the Colonial Relays on April 3rd-4th in Williamsburg, Va. before the squad will split up on Saturday April 11th for the JMU Invite in Harrisonburg and the Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pa. 

The Blue and White will round out the regular season in Newport News, Va. for the New Captains Classic on April 17-18. Championship season begins on April 24-25 with the ODAC Outdoor Championships at Eastern Mennonite before going to three different final qualifiers including the Hill City Twilight at Lynchburg, the Liberty University Twilight and the Widener Final Qualifier. The NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships will round out the season on May 21-23.
