NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Washington and Lee University women's track and field team reeled in eighteen All-South Region laurels, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced last weekend.

The top-eight performances in each event, including relays, earn the distinction of All-Region in the ten regions. The Generals' 18 All-Region honorees mark the most in program history.

Senior Jesma Evans and junior Olivia Warr highlighted the selections after earning a pair of All-Region honors. Evans alongside Ana Hodneland, Annabelle Sutliff and Simmons Lee earned honors in the 4x400m relay after the quartet clocked in a time of 4:01.54 at the ODAC Championships. Evans also earned a nod in the 400m after posting a converted time of 56.26s at the conference championship which helped her punch her ticket to nationals and earn Second Team All-America honors.

Warr earned two All-Region citations in the mile and 3,000m. She ranked second in the 3k with a converted time of 10:05.32 which she ran at the ODAC Championship while ranking fourth in the mile with a time of 5:04.62.
