Schleusner Named USBWA National Player of the Week, D3hoops.com Team of the Week

LEXINGTON, Va. - For the second time this season, Senior Mary Schleusner of the Washington and Lee University women's basketball team was selected to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week while also being named the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Division III National Player of the Week.

Schleusner had another impressive week to help the Generals secure a pair of ODAC wins and remain unbeaten on the season. She averaged 29 points and 15 rebounds, with six assists, three blocks, and four steals on 62% shooting (24-39). Against Randolph, Schleusner scored 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting while grabbing 12 boards. She also dished out four assists,  three steals, and one block. Then in a 69-52 win over No. 22 Shenandoah, she scored 36 points on 57% shooting (15-of-26) with 17 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal.
