W&L Women’s Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Academic Honors

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) recently announced its 2024-25 academic award recipients, with Washington and Lee University earning recognition both as a team and for individual academic achievement.

The Generals were named one of 383 programs across Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA to earn IWLCA Academic Honor Squad status. To receive this distinction, a team must post a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year.

In addition to the team award, 10 student-athletes from W&L were named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Washington and Lee's honorees include:
A total of 1,284 student-athletes from 201 institutions were recognized on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.
