GAME ONE | RC 7, W&L 5 (10 inn.)
  • The Maroons (17–11–1, 9–3–1 ODAC) opened the scoring in the second inning. Corey Coogan was hit by a pitch, and Ken McKeever reached on an error before Nate Prince ripped an RBI single through the right side, giving Roanoke a 1–0 lead.
  • Roanoke extended its lead in the top of the fourth as Hayden Giordano led off with a double to left-center. He later came around to score on a pair of ground outs, pushing the lead to 2–0.
  • The Generals (11–12, 5–11 ODAC) responded in the bottom half of the frame. Jack Belbot led off with a single, and Camdyn Teague followed with a double to left, driving in W&L's first run of the game.
  • In the sixth, John Turner was hit by a pitch and advanced to third on a single by Belbot. Turner scored on a Preston Larmore sacrifice bunt, tying the game at two.
  • Roanoke reclaimed the lead in the seventh. After a walk and single put two on, Tyler Galloway drove in Danny Ferguson with a single to left, putting the Maroons up 3–2.
  • The Generals responded in the bottom of the inning. Nathan DeWitte and Nick Lagges opened with back-to-back singles before Campbell Charneco advanced both with a sacrifice bunt. Two batters later, Paul Ramseur delivered a clutch two-RBI double down the right field line, giving W&L a 4–3 lead.
  • W&L added insurance in the eighth. Larmore led off with a single and scored on DeWitte's RBI single through the right side, extending the lead to 5–3.
  • However, Roanoke rallied in the ninth. Parker Stallard singled and scored on a Jackson Murphy single to left-center. Giordano then blasted a game-tying double to left-center, knotting the game at 5–5 and forcing extra innings.
  • In the 10th, Roanoke loaded the bases with back-to-back walks and a single. Galloway came through once again, singling up the middle to drive in two runs and give the Maroons a 7–5 lead. Trevor Orth shut the door in the bottom of the inning, striking out all three batters he faced to secure the win and the series sweep.
GAME TWO | RC 6, W&L 2
  • Washington and Lee opened the scoring in game two in the bottom of the second inning. Campbell Charneco singled through the left side and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Two at-bats later, John Turner tripled down the left field line to bring Charneco home and give W&L a 1–0 lead.
  • Roanoke answered in the top of the third. A pair of walks put two runners on before Hayden Giordano beat out an infield single to drive in the tying run. The Maroons took a 3–1 lead in the fourth after a walk and two singles loaded the bases, followed by a run scored on a wild pitch. Nate Prince came home on a Logan Moshier sacrifice fly to center field.
  • In the bottom of the fourth, Campbell Charneco cut into the deficit with a solo home run to left field—his third of the season—making it 3–2 in favor of Roanoke.

  • W&L looked to rally in the bottom of the ninth as Preston Larmore drew a walk and Nathan DeWitte singled to right, putting two runners on. However, Jackson Murphy shut the door with back-to-back strikeouts to seal the sweep for Roanoke.
