GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams were announced on Tuesday afternoon, and the Washington and Lee men's soccer team garnered six selections.
The W&L honorees included seniors
Buster Couhig,
Willy Hall and
Will Joseph, juniors
Spencer Furman and
Matthew Jenkins and sophomore
Trey Peterson. Couhig, Hall and Joseph all earned their third career CSC Academic All-District citation, Furman was recognized for a second time, while Jenkins and Peterson both picked up their first.
Formerly known as CoSIDA, the CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and in competition. To qualify, nominees must have at least sophomore academic standing and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, while also being a starter (at least 67 percent of team games started) or key reserve (at least 90 percent of team games played).
Couhig, Hall, Joseph, Furman and Jenkins also each qualified to advance to the national ballot to be recognized as Academic All-Americans. The CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced on Tuesday, December 16. For more information, click
