FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's Soccer all-conference teams and award winners on Thursday, and Washington and Lee was well-represented with four first team honorees and six total.

Leading the way on the All-ODAC First Team were seniors Buster Couhig and Willy Hall and juniors Matthew Jenkins and Spencer Furman. Senior goalkeeper Will Joseph was slotted on the second team and sophomore Ricardo Sanchez placed on the third team.

Couhig has paced the W&L offense throughout the season, and enters the first weekend of the national tournament leading the team in both goals (7) and points (16), which included a pair of assists. Couhig has also been scoring when the team needs it most, as four of his tallies have gone as game-winners this year, which is also a team high. He put together a span of one goal in four of five games at the end of the regular season and assisted on two scores to help the team past Hampden-Sydney in the ODAC semifinals.

Hall has been a force on both ends of the field for the Generals, contributing 12 points on three goals and six assists, while also aiding in the team posting a 0.60 goals-against average in its 20 games. Hall's six assists lead the team and are double his previous single-season career high from last year. Overall, Hall's 12 points were second on the team to Couhig's 16.

Jenkins earns his second straight all-conference citation and moves up to the first team after landing on the third team as a sophomore. In 17 games this season, Jenkins has produced eight points on two goals and four assists. One of his goals helped the team to a tie against H-SC in the regular season, with an assist each against Bridgewater (10/29) and Randolph-Macon (11/1) leading to wins.

Furman has had another strong season on the W&L backline to claim his first career First Team All-ODAC citation after making the third team last year. With Furman's help, the Generals have shut out their opponents 11 times in their 20 games and have allowed 3.3 shots on goal per game. Furman also has four goal contributions in the form of two goals and two assists (6 pts).

Joseph is now a four-time All-ODAC goalkeeper with this season's second team nod. He owns nine shutouts this season and a 0.52 goals-against average across 1,395 minutes between the posts, with a 0.837 save percentage on the season, as well. In his 16 games played, Joseph has allowed one or fewer goals in 14 outings. Earlier this season, Joseph became the program's all-time leader in clean sheets, as he enters this weekend with 32 for his career.

Sanchez rounds out the 2025 W&L All-ODAC honorees with a third team recognition, the first of his career. In 19 games played, Sanchez is tied for third on the team at 10 points on four goals and two assists. Sanchez first got on the scoresheet this season with a goal and assist against Regent, and most recently scored three goals in a five-game span from the end of October into the ODAC Tournament.

The Generals are preparing for an NCAA Tournament first round game against No. 25 Denison on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., which will be played on the campus of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
