LEXINGTON, Va. – Following three Top 10 finishes, including two Top 5s, the Washington and Lee women's golf team earned a national ranking of No. 8 in the first installment of this season's Scoreboard Powered by Clippd rankings. In addition to the team recognition, junior

Berkeley Bundy were both listed in the Top 40 for individual players.
The Generals have played in three tournaments so far this fall, posting a 24-12-0 record on a 293.2 scoring average across six rounds played. The team began the season with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Preview, before being the runners-up at the MCC Women's Intercollegiate. Most recently, the Generals took fifth at the Tartan Invitational. Their collective efforts this fall have been highlighted by setting the program's 36-hole scoring record (588) at the Tartan Invitational.
Wong leads the Generals individually with a No. 32 national ranking, followed by Bundy at No. 39. Wong is playing to a 72.4 scoring average through six rounds, which includes a first-round 69 (-3) at the NCAA Preview and a first-round 70 (-2) at the MCC Intercollegiate where she placed fourth overall. Bundy owns a 73.2 scoring average over her six rounds played, which has been helped by an average score of 72 over her last three rounds. Bundy has placed inside the Top 20 in all three tournaments with a pair of Top 15s.
The Generals will play in one final tournament this fall for breaking for the winter. They will host the Historic Triangle Invitational in Williamsburg, Va., at the Kingsmill Resort River Course from October 20-21. The team's first tournament in the spring will be the Savannah Invitational on March 9-10.
