LEXINGTON, Va. – The No. 14 Washington and Lee women's basketball team outscored Virginia Wesleyan by 19 points in the first quarter on Sunday and never looked back in an 87-40 win in their first home game in over a month.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Riley Bryant connected on a three 45 seconds later, and it was off to the races for the Blue and White. Including Bryant's triple, the Generals proceeded to go on a 19-4 run over four minutes of play, with Bryant notching eight of those points, to take a 19-6 lead.
Mckenzie Wiggins then made a driving layup at the 4:12 mark of the first, before the Generals outscored their opponents 20-7 over the next nearly 10 minutes of action to run their lead to 39-15 midway through the second.
