Women’s Track and Field 4x400 Relay Team Earns Indoor VaSID All-State Honors

FERRUM, Va. - The Washington and Lee University women's track and field 4x400 meter relay team earned second team All-State honors, the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced on Thursday. 

Paige Tulenko, Amanda Romano, Jesma Evans and Jordynn Palethorpe teamed up in the 4x400 meter relay this indoor season, clocking in the third fastest time in the south region at the JDL Last Chance Invitational. The quartet crossed the finish line in a program record time of 4:03.77, helping them earn All-Region honors.

The Generals finished the indoor season with a second place finish at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships while five student-athletes earned All-ODAC honors. In addition, the Blue and White had six U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region selections.
