FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference and Landmark Conference announced the selections for the Chesapeake Challenge Bowl Series and the Washington and Lee University football team is slated to play Wilkes University at Salem Stadium in Cape Henry Bowl on Saturday, November 23.
Wilkes finished the season with a 7-3 overall record with a 5-1 mark in conference play, finishing second in the league behind No. 6 Susquehanna University. The Generals wrapped up the regular season with a 6-4 overall record while completing the conference slate with a 5-2 record.
The two teams will meet for the second time in program history and the first time since 2006. The Cape Henry Bowl is slated for 1 p.m. at Salem Stadium in Salem, Virginia with the Cape Charles Bowl between Shenandoah University and Moravian University to follow at 5:30 p.m.
