The Generals opened the day with a 9-0 blanking of Earlham. Senior Kaitlyn Chalker and sophomore Jordan Kach picked up the first point in an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles. Senior Gabi Moss and sophomore Lauren Long had a slow start (down 3-4) but rebounded to pick up an 8-4 win at the top spot soon before senior Izzy Koziol and sophomore Riho Iijima turned in the same result at No. 2.

All six singles players won in straight sets, and no one dropped more than two games in a set. Koziol (3), Iijima (4), Chalker (5) and Kach (6) lost just one game each, Long dispatched of Payton Dugan, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 1 and Moss downed Maddie Cherry at No. 2 with 6-2 wins in both sets.

MATCH 2 – WASH. AND LEE 9, VA. WESLEYAN 0
Doubles play against the Marlins went perfectly for the Blue and White, as all three matches ended in 8-0 scores. Sophomore Isabella Custard (5) and junior Meagan Donovan (6), who were in the No. 3 doubles position, then went on to blank their singles opponents to get the Generals to five team points.

Koziol and Kach both earned their fourth total wins of the day by dropping just four games combined at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. First-year Haley Stoltz cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2, and sophomore Annie Jennings wrapped up play with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the top spot.
