WINTER PARK, Fla. – The 25th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team returned to action on Monday for the first time since April 1, and the Generals fell to NCAA Division II 12th-ranked Rollins by a 6-1 score.

The Tars (15-5) picked up a team point after they swept the Generals (13-5) in doubles play by scores of 6-1, 6-2 and 6-2 from positions 1-3, respectively. W&L sophomore Evan Erb (St. Louis, Mo. / MICDS) was responsible for the Blue and White point, as he defeated Efe Comu, 0-6, 6-4, 10-4 at the No. 1 singles spot.

Sophomore Will Kistler (Hilton Head, S.C. / Laurel Springs School) also took his opponent, Luke Quaynor, to three sets before falling by a final score of 1-6, 6-1, 6-3. The four remaining singles slots were each claimed by Rollins in straight sets, as those four Tars players did not surrender more than three games in a set to round out the performances.
