Box Score LEXINGTON, Va. – Washington and Lee scored four goals in the final 7:42 of the game to pull out a 12-9 victory over Randolph-Macon in ODAC men's lacrosse action on Saturday at Wilson Field.
The win was the 100th for Head Coach Gene McCabe at W&L. McCabe is now 100-56 (.641) in nine seasons with the Generals.
After W&L (9-6, 4-3) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the opening 15 minutes, the Yellow Jackets (6-10, 3-5) slowly chipped away at the Generals' advantage, eventually taking a 9-8 lead with 12:50 left in the game on a goal by first-year midfielder Kyle Keepers (Roswell, Ga./Roswell).

Randolph-Macon first-year midfielder Alex Camilliere (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) then scored two straight to tie the game at 7-7 with 1:43 left in the third period. Perella scored a third goal with 38 seconds left in the penultimate quarter to give W&L the lead back, but junior midfielder Nick Benhoff (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) scored off a faceoff win just nine seconds later to send the teams into the final quarter knotted at 8-8.
