GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America At-Large teams were announced on Wednesday, and recent men's lacrosse graduate
Elliot Cohen earned a third team selection.
Cohen becomes the third player in W&L men's lacrosse program history to be named a CSC Academic All-American, after
Hillis Burns '25 and
Tyler Spano both made the second team a season ago.
Cohen closed out his career at W&L with yet another strong season, both on and off the field. Cohen started 21 games in 2026 and produced 35 points on 12 goals and 23 assists, while adding 29 ground balls and three caused turnovers. His efforts were rewarded by being named the USILA Short-Stick Defensive Midfielder of the Year, along with first team honors for USILA All-American, IMCLA All-Region and All-ODAC.
Most recently, Cohen was named a USILA Scholar All-American and was a W&L Scholar Athlete for the Fall 2025 term. Cohen graduated with a degree in business administration in May.
Cohen helped the Generals repeat as ODAC Tournament champions this season and post a 16-6 overall record (9-1 ODAC). It marked the fourth consecutive season with both 16 or more wins and an NCAA Tournament Round of 16 appearance or better.
