LEXINGTON, Va. – The 14th-ranked Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team limited Sewanee to just one goal in each half in posting a 7-2 victory over the Tigers on Wednesday evening at Wilson Field.

However, the Generals held the Tigers scoreless for the remainder of the half, receiving two more first-period scores and a second goal from Lewis in the second quarter for a 5-1 lead at the intermission.

Junior midfielder Max Hutson (Houston, Texas/Episcopal) scored his second goal of the game as the lone tally in the third period and the Generals carried a 6-1 lead into the final quarter.

Junior attackman Chris Rusbuldt (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) scored at the 9:58 mark for a 7-1 lead and Berndt finally scored a second goal for Sewanee with 7:37 remaining for the final margin.
