EMORY, Va. -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team cruised to another ODAC victory, posting a 9-0 win over the Emory & Henry Wasps on Tuesday afternoon at the Richardson Tennis Courts.
The Generals started the competition by taking No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, both by a score of 8-2, to hold the early 2-0 advantage. Due to the Wasps' small roster, E&H (6-4, 0-2) forfeited No. 3 doubles.
W&L (10-1, 9-1) continued its winning ways by earning victories in all singles matches played. The Wasps had to forfeit No. 5 and No. 6 doubles.
The Generals are back in action on Saturday when they host Christopher Newport for a 10:00 am contest.
