LEXINGTON, Va. – Washington and Lee used a five-goal run across the third and fourth periods to produce a 13-7 victory over Kenyon in men's lacrosse on Tuesday evening at Wilson Field.

The Generals (3-4) trailed 4-3 following the first quarter, but successive goals by senior midfielder Drew Koeneman (St. Louis, Mo./MICDS) and sophomore attackman Mac Means (Sewickley, Pa./Sewickley Academy) gave W&L a 5-4 lead at the break.

A goal by junior midfielder Max Olson (Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge) pulled Kenyon even at 5-5 just 2:02 into the third period, but W&L used the aforementioned spurt to take a 10-5 lead entering the fourth quarter.

The Lords (1-3) crawled back to within 11-7 on a man-up goal by sophomore midfielder Chris Pappalardo (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) off a feed from first-year attackman Will Lowe (Charlotte, N.C./Myers Park), but could get no closer as the Generals defeated the Lords for the fourth-straight time in the series.
