Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va. – The 17th-ranked Washington and Lee
men's lacrosse team posted 13 goals by 12 different players
en route to a 13-1 victory over Randolph College on Saturday
afternoon in Lynchburg, Va.
The Generals (10-4, 4-2) outshot the WildCats by a count of
59-15 and held a 53-21 advantage on ground balls. W&L
also won 12-of-17 faceoffs and forced Randolph into committing 39
turnovers.
W&L used a steady attack to build a 7-0 halftime lead and led
9-0 before Randolph (0-12, 0-6) got on the board with an unassisted
goal by first-year midfielder Stephen Allman with 2:36 remaining in
the third period. The Generals added four more tallies in the
final quarter for the 12-goal win.

Will Keigler (Timonium, Md./Gilman) led W&L
with one goal and two assists, while first-year midfielder Cooper
Brown (Baltimore, Md./Gilman) notched two goals. Senior

Will Garrett (Purcellville, Va./Highland School) all

Md./Calvert Hall) and
Ned Lundvall (Richmond, Va./Gilman), and
sophomore
Weston Beard (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) all played
in goal and posted seven saves between them.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kevin McCracken (Annandale, Va./Annandale)
played all 60 minutes in goal for the WildCats and turned back 24
shots. Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday as it
travels to Lynchburg College for a 7:00 pm contest.
