FOREST, Va. - The Washington and Lee University women's track and field team garnered three Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Major Awards for the Outdoor season while receiving 22 All-ODAC citations for their performances at the conference championship.

Cassie Carr, Camille Gillum, and head coach Dana Freeman all earned major honors during the outdoor season. Carr was named Track Athlete of the Meet after securing a pair of wins at the ODAC Outdoor Championships. She claimed gold in the 1,500m with a time of 4:39.56 before winning the 800m in a then-program record time of 2:15.37.

Gillum was named the Co-ODAC/Va. Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year, marking her second such honor after also earning the award during the indoor season. She captured her second ODAC outdoor title in the high jump by clearing 1.66m (5'-05.25"). A senior from Mountain Brook, Ala., Gillum is a double major in mathematics and economics. She is a three-time NCAA Championship qualifier, a three-time USTFCCCA Second Team All-American in the high jump, and holds both the indoor and outdoor program records in the event. She has also earned multiple All-Region honors and repeated recognition as both ODAC Field Athlete of the Week and a W&L Scholar-Athlete.

Head coach Dana Freeman was named ODAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season and the fourth time overall. Under her leadership, the Generals claimed their second straight outdoor championship and completed the second triple crown in program history. The Blue and White totaled 258 points—the highest ever at the ODAC women's outdoor championship—while producing 10 individual champions, 22 All-ODAC performers, and 43 top-eight finishes.
