LA CROSSE, Wis - Senior Bailey Hedgemon of the Washington and Lee University women's track and field team earned First Team All-America honors in the hammer throw on Saturday afternoon at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship.

Hedgemon was making her second-straight appearance at the national meet after qualifying for the indoor championship in March. She headed into the weekend with the 15th-best mark in the field and turned in a podium finish as she finished in eighth place with a new program record mark of 53.82m (176'-07.00"). Her top-eight performance helped her garner First Team All-America honors, the second of her career.
