LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its Division III Team of the Week, and Washington and Lee senior
Colin Beatty was among the 10 players recognized.
Beatty, who also earned ODAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week laurels this week, tallied six ground balls, four caused turnovers and a goal in a pair of big wins for the Generals last week. Beatty's goal came as part of a four-ground ball, two caused turnover game against Hampden-Sydney, after he went for two ground balls and two caused turnovers at Bridgewater.
Beatty is the second General to make it onto the USILA Team of the Week this season, after classmate
Jay O'Keefe was selected two weeks ago.
The Generals won last night, 26-4, at Shenandoah and they return to action tonight at 7:00 p.m. at home against Averett.
