LEXINGTON, Va. — Washington and Lee senior Olivia Warr, senior Camille Gillum and Head Coach Dana Freeman headlined the Generals' postseason honors as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its women's indoor track and field all-conference awards following the 2026 ODAC Indoor Championships.
Warr was named the ODAC Track Athlete of the Meet, Gillum collected the league's ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor and Freeman was selected as the ODAC Coach of the Year. In addition, junior hurdler Elizabeth Sawicki represented Washington and Lee on the ODAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
The conference awards came after a dominant championship performance from the Generals, who captured their second-straight and third overall ODAC indoor title with 195.5 points. Under the direction of ODAC Coach of the Year Dana Freeman, Washington and Lee totaled six individual champions and 37 top-eight finishes across the two-day meet, using its depth across the throws, jumps, sprints, middle distance and distance events to separate from runner-up Lynchburg (113).
Warr turned in one of the top individual performances of the championship and was recognized as the meet's top track athlete after winning a pair of individual conference titles. She claimed the mile in a personal-best 5:07.63, the eighth-fastest time in program history, before defending her ODAC crown in the 3,000 meters with a season-best 10:10.51. Warr's two victories helped lead a distance group effort that was central to Washington and Lee's team title.
Gillum earned the conference's top scholar-athlete award after another outstanding season for the Generals, adding to her postseason resume with First Team All-ODAC honors in the high jump after clearing 1.65 meters (5'-5.00") to secure her third conference crown in the event. A senior from Mountain Brook, Ala., Gillum is a double major in Mathematics and Economics. She is a 2025 NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships qualifier, a two-time USTFCCCA Second Team All-American in the high jump and the owner of the program indoor high jump record at 1.66 meters. Gillum was also named the 2025 VaSID Indoor Field Athlete of the Year, is a multiple-time USTFCCCA All-Region honoree and has earned repeated recognition as an ODAC Field Athlete of the Week and W&L Scholar-Athlete.
Washington and Lee totaled 22 All-ODAC honors, led by six first-team selections.
