NEWVILLE, Pa. — The No. 11 Washington and Lee women's cross country team claimed the 4K race title at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational on Saturday afternoon, winning the event for the third straight year.

The Generals scored 12 points by sweeping places 3 through 6 to finish well ahead of runner-up Messiah (24 points) and third-place Shippensburg (34) where only the first three runners count toward scoring.

Dickinson's Liza Barbash claimed the individual victory in 14:21.5, with Messiah's Ella Swayne close behind in 14:35.4. W&L quickly followed, as Lydia Harvey (3rd, 14:39.9), first-year Maddy Morgan (4th, 14:41.4), first-year Adelaide Ellis (5th, 14:46.1), and senior Eve Spencer (6th, 14:49.2) packed tightly at the front to lock up the team title.

The win marked W&L's third straight 4K victory at Dickinson, extending a strong start to the 2025 season. Find the full results here.
