Men’s Golf Earns Platform Golf Team Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. - The Washington and Lee University men's golf team was honored for their academic success as they earned the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, the Golf Coaches Associaton of America (GCAA) announced on Tuesday afternoon.

A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned the Team Academic Award while 129 schools were named President's Special Recognition. The Generals were one of 25 teams to earn the President's Special Recognition which is awarded to teams with a cumulative grade point average above 3.5.
