COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - The Washington and Lee University women's swimming team earned the recognition of College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Spring Scholar All-America while four student-athletes earned First Team Scholar All-America honors
The Blue and White earned the honor after registering a team grade point average of 3.70 under the head coach
Kami Gardner. To earn the prestigious honor, teams are required to achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the spring semester. In total, 763 teams and 18,459 student-athletes were recognized for their academic achievements this season.
Four student-athletes earned the distinction of First Team Scholar All-America for their impressive performances in the classroom and in the pool. To be recognized individually, student-athletes must have a 3.5 or higher. First Team honorees have to participate at the national championship while second team honorees must meet a B-cut time standard or qualify for a diving zone qualification meet.

The Generals hoisted their 34th Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship this season while sending four swimmers to the NCAA Championship.
