Men’s Track & Field Competes at Liberty Twilight

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Washington and Lee University men's track and field team sent five student-athletes to Lynchburg to compete at the Liberty University Twilight on Tuesday.

George Marable paced the group with a second place finish in the 400m hurdles, clocking in a time of 54.82s. Ryan McKenna competed alongside Marable, crossing the finish line in 56.39s to finish in fifth place.

Robert Cooper and Will DeLoach both competed in the 1,500m this evening. Cooper paced the duo with a 15th place finish and the top Division III finisher after clocking in a time of 3:58.44. DeLoach crossed the finish line in 4:06.97 to finish in 28th place. Leo Avigliano posted a mark of 43.09m (141'-04.25") to finish in tenth place in the discus this afternoon.

MEET RESULTS
The Generals will have one last chance to post qualifying marks for the 2025 NCAA Divison III Outdoor National Championships on Monday, May 12 as they head to Chester, Pa. for the Widener Final Qualifier.
