Rush Breaks Program and ODAC Records at Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Keaton Rush of the Washington and Lee University men's track and field team set new program and Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) records at the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University on Saturday evening.

Rush
, a junior from Devon, Pa., capped off Friday's session at the Bison Outdoor Classic by competing in the 10,000m run against a strong field of Division I, II, and III athletes. Rush delivered a standout performance, resetting both the program and ODAC records with a personal-best time of 29:37.51. He finished fifth overall and was the top Division III competitor in the event.

His time surpasses the
previous program record of 30:09.75, set by Charles Scharf in 2023, as well as the ODAC record of 29:37.97, set by Frank Csorba in 2021. Rush's mark currently ranks fourth in Division III this season.

The men's track and field team will be back in action on Saturday, April 19th as they travel to Baltimore, Md. for the Hopkins / Loyola Invitational.
