LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee equestrian team secured a fourth-place finish at the ODAC Championships on Wednesday at the Virginia Horse Center's Waldron Arena. First-year
Eva Lunn highlighted the Generals' efforts, earning All-ODAC honors with a fourth-place individual finish and a combined score of 83.250.
Team Standings
W&L finished with 10 total points, placing fourth overall in a tightly contested team competition. Lynchburg claimed the ODAC title with 19 points, while Hollins took runner-up honors with 14 points. Bridgewater placed third with 11 points, and Sweet Briar finished fifth with nine points—just one point separating third through fifth place.
Event Results
Over Fences Class 1: The Generals started strong, placing second with 245 points in the first class.
Elisabeth Marek led W&L with a tie for second place (85 points), while Lunn placed fifth (83 points).
Jade Condrell (11th place) and
Allison Hines (20th place) rounded out the team.
Over Fences Class 2: W&L finished fifth with 209 points. Lunn again led the Generals with an 83.5, followed by Hines (75.5), Condrell, and Marek. Lynchburg won the team scoring class with 250.5 points.
Flat Class: Hines and Marek posted scores of 73.0 and 78.5, respectively, for a combined 151.5 points, earning fourth place in the event.

The Generals now turn their attention to the IHSA Zone 4 Championships on April 5, where Marek and Condrell will compete for national qualification. The event, hosted by Virginia Tech, will take place at the Smithfield Horse Center in Blacksburg, Va., starting at 10 a.m.
