BLACKSBURG, Va. – Juniors Elizabeth Marek and
Jade Condrell wrapped up the 2024-25 riding season at the IHSA Zone 4 Championships on Saturday, April 5, hosted by Virginia Tech at the Smithfield Horse Center in Blacksburg, Va.
The duo earned qualifications for the IHSA Zone 4 Championships last month when Marek secured a runner-up finish in Open Fences and Condrell was crowned event champion in Limit Fences.
Marek wrapped up the season finishing 7th in the Open Fences event and Condrell placed ninth overall in the the Limit Fences Class.
The riding and equestrian team will resume competition during the fall slate of the 2025-26 athletic calendar.
